Website and workbook terms

What the website and free resources are for, where their limits are, and how a paid engagement starts.

Using this website

These terms cover the FrankCFO website, articles, free workbooks and enquiry forms. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and not interfere with its security, submit misleading information, access private records or use it to distribute harmful material. Last updated 24 October 2026.

Information, not advice for your circumstances

Articles, calculators, examples and workbooks are general educational information. They do not take account of your business’s full circumstances and are not a substitute for an agreed professional engagement. Worked examples are illustrative, not current government rates or guaranteed results. Check source documents, current funding rules and your own figures before acting. FrankCFO is not a registered tax agent and does not provide tax or legal advice, statutory audit opinions or registration certification. Use qualified advisers for those matters.

Enquiries and engagements

Sending an enquiry, downloading a workbook or having an initial conversation does not create an ongoing advisory engagement. The first 30-minute business conversation is free; any subsequent work, scope and fees must be agreed separately. Speaking requests are subject to availability and written agreement on fees, format, travel and cancellation terms. Submitting a speaking enquiry does not confirm a booking. A signed engagement agreement governs paid services and takes precedence where it conflicts with these website terms.

No promised funding, registration or business outcome

Financial models depend on assumptions and information supplied. Actual outcomes can differ. Case studies describe individual, anonymised situations and are not a guarantee of savings, profitability, regulatory outcomes or timing. Grant and registration support is assistance with preparation and financial evidence; the relevant body makes the decision.

Using the workbooks and articles

You may download and use the workbooks within your own business and share links to our articles. Keep source attribution and notices intact. Do not sell, republish or pass off the material as your own, or use FrankCFO branding in a way that implies endorsement, without written permission. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Rights and exceptions available under applicable law are unaffected.

Accuracy, links and availability

We aim to keep material useful and accurate, but funding rules, prices and guidance change. We may correct, update or remove content. Links to other sites are provided for context and are not an endorsement. We cannot guarantee their availability or content, or uninterrupted operation of this website.

Your information and marketing

Our privacy policy explains how we handle enquiries, workbook requests and newsletter preferences. Marketing consent is separate from a workbook download and is not inferred from an enquiry. Do not upload or submit patient, participant or other sensitive records through public forms.

Liability and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, FrankCFO is not responsible for losses caused by relying on general website information without advice appropriate to your circumstances, or by third-party sites. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms do not override an agreed professional duty or separate engagement terms.

Questions, disputes and updates

Contact [email protected] first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These website terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. We may revise these terms for future website use by updating this page; changes do not retrospectively alter an existing signed engagement.
